œI received my order this morning, Pie & Casserole Box. Tt arrived in perfect condition and in could not wait to sample some so I cooked some Galloway beef and some mince.

Just to say that the two haunches were delicious. Even though I was worried about cooking them and making the sauce beforehand, I needn’t
have been! It all went
brilliantly, the meat was tender and full of flavour and was in perfect condition even though I had it in the fridge from 18 December until 25 December – the last 24 hours in a marinade.

Thank you so much for our lovely turkey Ben and team. The bird cooked very easily, was deep breasted with plenty of firm textured white meat for ten hungry people. As a dark meat specialist, the legs, back meat and wings were lovely eating and I got them all to myself.
And as for the Blackface mmutton – what can I say? I cooked it in line with one of the recipes on the web site – 5 hours at 180c with red wine, stock, orange juice and onion & garlic. Just wonderful. My wife, who was very uncertain, having never eaten proper mutton, was blown away by the flavour.
And that gravy! WOW! Thank you all. We’ll sure be back for more.

Tonight we had a half leg of your quality lamb, incised with rosemary, garlic and covered in salt, pepper, olive oil(because it is so lean) and mixed spice, oh what heaven. The lamb cooked at 180c middle shelf for 1hr 10 mins (it weighed in at 1kg) pink in the middle and melt in your mouth. No supermarket stuff comes anywhere near this flavour and quality. I know as an ex Savoy Hotel chef. Thanks for your taste exciters. AF
May I say that my last order was brilliant, very tasty venison, far superior to the meat in any supermarket.
We ate the grouse that we ordered from you last week at the weekend and I wanted to let you know that they were some of the best that we have ever had. We will definitely be coming back to try some more of your products.

Thank you for sending me the 12 grouse to Gruinards at the beginning of the month. They arrived in immaculate condition and were greatly appreciated by everone. Some said they were the best they’d ever had!
