Just a note to say how much we all enjoyed your Haggis on Saturday.

Six of us sat down to celebrate Burns night and fortunately there was just enough left over from three haggis to have some as a cold lunch for me the following day; it was just as good cold as hot, plus the whisky didn™t evaporate!

Next to try are the six pheasants which I also ordered.

have been! It all went
brilliantly, the meat was tender and full of flavour and was in perfect condition even though I had it in the fridge from 18 December until 25 December – the last 24 hours in a marinade.

I have recently tried both the 5 year old Blackface Mutton and the Compact Galloway Beef Box.

Both were superb.

We cooked a mutton joint using the competition recipe and it was extremely tender and the flavour simply awesome.

The beef steak and roasting joint likewise, extremely tender and fantastic flavour.

œI received my order this morning, Pie & Casserole Box. Tt arrived in perfect condition and in could not wait to sample some so I cooked some Galloway beef and some mince.

We had the leg of 5 year old mutton on Saturday evening and cooked it exactly to your recipe. It was simply stunning and created quite stir at the table. It was a real taste sensation and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Well done to all at Blackface.

Blackface game is consistently good: the birds are never fatty and are always hung sufficiently to ensure a delicious flavour.

I have never found another commercial seller of game who can compare.
