What allergen and E numbers are in your products?

Some of our stuffed products and other items such as our sausages, haggis and black pudding may have preservatives, flavor enhancers and other allergens within their ingredients.

What makes your products special?

As farmers of the majority of our products we can account for their traceability, We follow the seasons and try to supply whatever is best according to the season, and we are proud of our region. The very positive feedback we get from our customers provides the best testament to our meats.

How many items do I need to order to get FREE delivery?

You need to either order one of our boxes, eg Coney and Doo, 1/2 Lamb etc and then add individual items, or choose 10 or more from our Pick and Mix.
If your order comes to over £75 then it will also qualify even if there are only 2 items. If your order does not qualify the delivery is normally £15.

I would like to send a box as a gift to a friend. How can I do this?

When you order you can enter different delivery details from the invoice details. Simply fill in your friendís address in the delivery details and add a message to your friend in the comments section.

Is your meat suitable for freezing?

Yes. We send out most our home delivered meat fresh, vacuum packed, with a fresh best before date on. Unless stated on our website, some products are dispatched frozen and we cannot always guarantee it will still arrive frozen.

Why do you vacuum pack the meat?

Vaccuum packaging is the best form of packaging because it is suitable for home freezing, helps to keep the meat succulent and is the natural way to keep the meat fresher for longer.

How are the game birds prepared?

Each bird is plucked, dressed and oven ready, they are tray wrapped and vacuum packed.

If you prefer we can order your Grouse "long legged spec" (meaning they still have the head and legs on and guts in), these can only be ordered in boxes of 10. Please contact one of our booking team should you require this.

Can you ship to the States?

Sadly we are not allowed to ship to the USA.

Can you send boxes to mainland Europe?

Sadly we cannot as the delivery network is too unreliable and there is too greater risk of the meat being affected by a delay in transportation.

When is delivery day?

The delivery dates for different products are listed on the website and should appear on your order confirmation. We despatch every Wednesday evening for delivery before noon on Thursday morning. However some postcodes in Scotland may be delivered later on Thursday or sometimes on Friday. Your confirmation may not show the date of delivery in this case but we will call you.

Do I have to be in to receive the goods?

No, our carrier will leave the goods in a safe place if instructed to do so, however it is preferable if you are in to receive and refrigerate your order.

If I order for future delivery when do I have to pay?

We take your credit card details when you order and charge your card up to 4 working days prior to despatch.

What do you charge for delivery?

Our delivery is free to mainland Britain if you order a 'box', have more than 10 items or your order is over £75. Otherwise we charge £15 for delivery. We also charge £15 for orders to Northern Ireland and UK Islands.
